Do you want to buy a complete Mysticum or parts of it?

Before scrolling down let me clarify some important items (terms and conditions):

First of all Mysticum is a do-it-yourself chess computer and I want to encourage you to do so. You can download all necessary documents. But if you are not able to build it and/or you cannot or you don't want to attend a workshop you can buy Mysticum components or a ready made Mysticum.
Mysticum is not a commercial product and I don't want to gain any profit - Mysticum is my hobby! I'm not a professional, but an amateur - therefore the workmanship is not always 100% professional - flaws like small drill registrations of the LED drills or minimal manual adjustments of the chess pieces for better detection have to be accepted.
I don't own a company and I don't offer legal warranty!
I provide support in case of defects or answer questions related to function and use - I repair on demand; costs of repair, shipment and packaging carries the sender and will be fixed individually!
The charge for the different versions offered below consists of material, packaging, shipment of the suppliers, delivery to you within Germany and my amount of work. Delivery to foreign countries will be charged extra and be offered individually. I will update the costs from time to time; therefore the charge can vary with the time. The design can change at any time.
I expect payment before delivery according to the assembly progress. Payment must be done to 100% before shipment.
The Mysticum software is offered as is; the software can contain bugs. At the moment, you will get the software free of charge - donations are welcome!
Exact shipping dates will be defined individually without obligation. In general: Versions 1., 2. and 3. are usually on stock and can be delivered immediately if so - versions 4., 5. and 6. will be assembled after order and initial payment; you can count with a lead time of approx. 6 months, depending on the load of the workshop ;-).
If you do not agree on the conditions mentioned above, do not order! You accept the above mentioned conditions with your order!

1. Mysticum pcb without components

This pcb saves a lot of time compared to earlier assembly versions - the boring cable wiring can be omitted. In the center of the pcb you can find the pads of the IOW56 module. This pcb is the heart of Mysticum. The solderability is perfect, especially for solder newbees. The service print supports the error free manual insertion. Thanks to Michael P. for his work on the layout and the sourcing of the pcb! 25,-- Euro

2. Mysticum pcb completely soldered with all components

The heart of the Mysticum chess computer. The Mysticum pcb and it's components evaluate permanently (in multiplex mode) the reed switches within the chess board and the 6 push buttons and pass the information via the custom specific µP of the IOW56 module to the pc. The IOW56 module is with a price of more than 30,-- Euro the most expensive component. It controlls the LEDs within the chess board and the display. Both ICs drive the LEDs and the voltage converter takes care of the pleasent light of the LEDs. 115,-- Euro

3. Mysticum pcb complete with display and push button unit

The OLED display and the push button module complete the Mysticum pcb. They are connected via flat cable and suitable connectors with the pcb. The OLED display is the best display type in the market. It costs more than 30,-- Euro, but it has the best quality, high contrast and can be watched from every angle. A foil protects the display against scratches and will be removed before assembly into the housing. The push buttons have a pleasing click when pushed - the feel is outstanding. PCB, display and push button module will be fixed with screws within the housing. 175,-- Euro

You can find the Mysticum chess board with the dimensions 400mmx400mmx14mm and a field size of 40 mm on the left side of the picture. It has all wired reeds and LEDs needed and flat cables and suitable connectors attached for the Mysticum pcb. There is no housing, but with four provisional bases it can be placed on the table. The white felt pads on top of the board proctect the surface when you work at the bottom of the board; you can remove them easily.

With the Mysticum pcb complete with display and push button module (see above #3), an USB cable with A and B plug, a Windows pc with installed Mysticum software and magnetic chess pieces you can set up a run capable chess computer. The Mysticum pcb complete with display and buttons, USB cable, pc and chess pieces are essential for the function and not part of this offer #4. I will provide the Mysticum software. 195,-- Euro

The Mysticum housing with the dimensions 400mmx400mmx45mm has a weight of 2.4 kg. The chess board itself has a field size of 40 mm (see #4). Mysticum will be connected to the external Windows touchscreen pc (with Mysticum software V3) by an USB cable. V3 is currently still in beta development but is working and you can play chess games. V3 will only be operated by the touchscreen. Display and push buttons are necessary for V1, are only attached provisional and will not be shipped. The Mysticum housing with USB connection on the right, magnetic chess pieces with a king height of 70 mm, the USB cable to connect your Mysticum to the Windows touchscreen pc and the Mysticum software V3 with a chess engine selection and emulations of old chess programs belong to the scope of delivery. 415,-- Euro

The Mysticum housing with the dimensions 480mmx400mmx45mm has a weight of 2.9 kg. The chess board itself has the dimension of 400mmmx400mmx 14mmm and a field size of 40 mm (see #4). This housing is a proven concept, assembled and tested several times. Mysticum will be connected to the external Windows pc by an USB cable. The Mysticum housing with USB connection on the right, magnetic chess pieces with a king height of 70 mm, the USB cable to connect your Mysticum to the Windows pc and the Mysticum software with a chess engine selection and emulations of old chess programs belong to the scope of delivery. 540,-- Euro

7. Mysticum complete

The Mysticum housing has the same dimensions as with #5. The weight increased, because of a built in Windows tablet, to 3.4 kg. The offer price is substantially determined by the price of the Windows tablet. Here I calculated with a price of 69,-- Euro for a TrekStor SurfTab Wintron 7.0 (7 inches) tablet with Windows 8.1. In case of another tablet assembled or price variation the price of the complete offer will change.
